#Nation Above Party: A Call for Responsible Politics

The recent conduct of the Congress Party during the AI International Summit has once again raised serious concerns about political responsibility and national image. At a time when India is positioning itself as a global technological leader, any attempt to create disruption, spread unverified allegations, or tarnish the nation’s prestige on an international platform cannot be taken lightly.

Political opposition is not only legitimate in a democracy — it is essential. However, opposition must be constructive, evidence-based, and aligned with the larger national interest. When criticism crosses into theatrical disruption, narrative manipulation, or controversy without substantiated proof, it ceases to be democratic vigilance and becomes national liability.

No political party — whether Congress, BJP, Samajwadi Party, or any other — can ever be placed above the nation. Governments will change. Leaders will come and go. But the Republic of India must stand steady and dignified. The guiding principle must always be: Nation First, Party Later.

If allegations are made, let them be supported by documented evidence. If policies are criticized, let the criticism be rooted in facts and data. Mere rhetorical accusations, repeated controversies, and street-level dramatization without substantive proof only waste national time and damage India's global credibility.

Since 2014, the Congress Party has positioned itself as a principal opposition force. Yet the question that naturally arises before the citizens is:
How much of its opposition has translated into constructive national contribution?
How many of the controversies raised were backed by conclusive and legally sustainable evidence?

In a democracy, the government must be questioned — absolutely. But questioning must be responsible. Unverified narratives, international embarrassment, and repeated attempts to malign institutions weaken not a party, but the nation itself.

The law of the land must remain firm and impartial. If any individual or organization — irrespective of political affiliation — engages in activities that compromise national dignity or disrupt constitutional order, appropriate legal action should follow. Selective silence or administrative hesitation will only encourage further irresponsibility.

As a Press Member and Chief Editor, I appeal to all nationalist citizens to rise above partisan lines and collectively protest against any conduct that undermines India’s global standing.

Vigilant citizenship is the backbone of democracy. If citizens remain passive, irresponsible political behavior will continue unchecked.

India’s image abroad is built through decades of sacrifice, diplomacy, innovation, and economic effort. It must not be jeopardized by internal theatrics.

Let political parties debate.
Let them challenge policies.
Let them oppose the government when necessary.

But let them do so with dignity, evidence, and accountability.

The nation must move forward with clarity of direction. Political rivalry must never overshadow national progress.

Leadership is temporary. The nation is permanent.

Nation above ego. Nation above party. Nation above politics.

Dhanyabad.

Editor's Remarks :

The above analysis has been inspired by the reference link mentioned,( https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1MiuEVjSR4/) which prompted me to articulate what I sincerely believe to be the truth and the ground reality before the honest and nationalist citizens of India.

My intention is neither to target any individual out of personal bias nor to create unnecessary controversy. Rather, it is to uphold the larger national interest and encourage responsible political conduct in public life.

If this editorial contributes, even in a small measure, to public awareness, constructive debate, and the strengthening of democratic accountability, I shall consider my effort meaningful.

As a Press Member and Chief Editor, my responsibility is to present concerns that affect the nation’s dignity and global image. If these words reach the conscience of the people and inspire thoughtful reflection, it will bring me immense personal satisfaction.

Thank You All. Have A Very Nice Day.

Stay with me and support me to stand unitedly against anything wrong for this Country.

Public Debate, Public Responsibility – A Citizen’s Reflection

By Krishna Chandra Das
Press Member

Jurisdiction: Kolkata High Court Only

I was recently watching a debate on Aaj Tak, moderated by the well-known journalist Anjana Om Kashyap. The panel featured two prominent personalities: Sudhanshu Trivedi and Ashutosh.

During the discussion, Ms. Kashyap asked Ashutosh Ji a direct and pointed question regarding public protest—specifically, whether an act such as removing one’s shirt at an international AI Summit strengthens democratic principles.

Ashutosh Ji responded by saying: “Is it wrong to protest in a constitutional manner?”

The moderator then clarified her question: whether such a manner of protest—removing clothes in a public international forum—was appropriate and permissible in India.

However, instead of addressing the core question directly, the discussion was diverted toward the Epstein files, which were not the subject of that particular debate.
Certainly, the Epstein files are a serious matter and deserve a focused debate. But when a debate is centered on a specific issue, it should remain confined to that issue.
Topic diversion weakens the integrity of the discussion and wastes valuable public time.
A debate is not an informal gathering for casual remarks. It is a structured platform meant to inform the public. If panelists shift topics when confronted with difficult questions, it undermines both accountability and public trust.

In this context, I wish to raise a larger question—not only about Ashutosh Ji but also about Sudhanshu Ji. What are their measurable and positive contributions to the nation?

Political rhetoric and narrative-building are common in television debates, but the country deserves more than words. The nation deserves clarity of action, transparency of intent, and tangible contributions.

Ashutosh Ji appeared to defend Rahul Gandhi’s protest against the AI Summit.
That is his political right. However, debate must remain disciplined and focused. If arguments lack substance, changing the topic does not strengthen credibility—it weakens it.

At the same time, impartiality demands that we evaluate Sudhanshu Ji as well. The country does not need blind supporters; it needs responsible representatives.

Therefore, a fair comparison must be made based on facts, conduct, and constructive national contribution.

Public debates should not resurrect irrelevant historical grievances unless absolutely necessary. What has happened in the past cannot be undone. The focus must be on present responsibility and future progress.

Citizens invest their time watching debates with the expectation of insight—not political theatrics.
The public is not foolish. People work hard. They give their time to understand issues. Politicians and panelists must respect that time. Substance must replace spectacle.

My appeal is simple:

Do not divide the country in the name of religion—Hindu or Muslim. The nation belongs to all. Rise above partisan loyalty.
Do not believe blindly in any politician. Use your own judgment. Analyze who speaks with facts and who avoids accountability.
Let those who are truly dedicated to the nation come forward with courage. Expose those who are not. Unite beyond party lines for national progress.
I leave this matter to the wisdom of the people. I wish to see the opinion of the citizens.

With respect to all,

THE INDIVIDUAL PRESS

PRESENTS --

This hard-hitting investigative editorial, structured with data logic and economic grounding for serious publication tone.

HEADLINE --

Tariff Narratives vs Economic Reality: A Statistical Examination of Political Recklessness

LEAD --

An Investigative Editorial with Economic Framing

By Krishna Chandra Das
Press Member & Chief Editor, The Individual Press

LEAD IMPORTANCE --

Political rhetoric may win headlines.
But economic data decides national destiny.

In recent months, tariff-related allegations have been amplified by leaders of the Indian National Congress, suggesting that India has compromised its strategic position in global trade negotiations.
Before accepting such claims, let us examine economic fundamentals.

1️⃣ India’s Trade Position: The Macro Picture :

India today is the 5th largest economy in the world, with a GDP exceeding $3.5 trillion.

Recent trade indicators show:

Total merchandise exports crossing $450+ billion annually
Services exports exceeding $320+ billion
Record levels of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflows in recent years
Strong growth in manufacturing under PLI schemes
If tariff policies had genuinely “crippled” India’s negotiating power, such macro indicators would reflect instability.
They do not.

Markets respond to fundamentals, not slogans.

2️⃣ Tariffs as Strategic Economic Tools
Tariffs are used globally to:

Protect infant industries
Counter dumping
Correct trade imbalances
Strengthen domestic manufacturing

The United States, European Union, and China regularly adjust tariffs for strategic advantage.

To portray India’s tariff recalibration as unilateral surrender without evidence is economically misleading.

Trade negotiations are dynamic — concessions, adjustments, and reciprocal benefits are part of every international agreement.

3️⃣ Investor Confidence: The Real Barometer :

Consider key signals:

India remains among the top FDI destinations globally.
Stock markets have shown long-term resilience despite global volatility.
Rating agencies continue to maintain stable outlooks.
If tariff decisions had destroyed India’s credibility, capital flight would be visible.
Instead, capital inflows continue.

Economic confidence contradicts political alarmism.

4️⃣ The Cost of Irresponsible Narratives ,:

However, perception risk is real.
When prominent political figures publicly allege that:

India has “bowed under foreign pressure”
National interest has been “sold”
Strategic autonomy has been compromised
— without documentary proof —

Such statements can:
Increase volatility in sensitive sectors
Trigger short-term investor hesitation
Provide foreign negotiators psychological leverage
This is not hypothetical.
In global economics, messaging influences markets.

5️⃣ Media Accountability and Public Scrutiny :

Journalist Rubika Liaquat has repeatedly demanded documentary evidence behind such tariff allegations during public debates.
Her central question remains statistically valid:
If compromise occurred — where is the clause?
If surrender happened — where is the agreement?
If economic loss is proven — where is the data?

In economics, numbers speak louder than narratives.

6️⃣ Trade Negotiation Reality: Zero-Sum Is a Myth :

Modern trade diplomacy is not zero-sum warfare. It is calibrated adjustment.

India balances:
Domestic employment
Export competitiveness
Strategic supply chains
Inflation management

A tariff increase in one sector may correspond with market access gain in another.

Selective political framing distorts this complexity.

7️⃣ The Larger Democratic Test
Opposition is essential.
But economic misinformation is dangerous.
Democratic maturity demands:
Data-backed critique
Comparative trade analysis
Sectoral impact studies
Transparent documentation
Without this, allegations become economic destabilizers.

Conclusion:

Evidence Over Emotion
India stands at a critical global inflection point — supply chains shifting, geopolitical alignments evolving, trade blocs reconfiguring.

In such times:
Economic stability must not be sacrificed at the altar of political expediency.
If there is proof of tariff mismanagement — publish it.
If there is data of loss — present it.
If there is strategic compromise — document it.

But until then, statistical evidence does not support the claim that India’s global standing has been dismantled.

The economy reflects resilience.
The markets reflect confidence.
The data reflects continuity.

Narratives alone cannot override numbers.

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has foiled a major terror plot in India with the help of Pakistan's ISI and Bangladesh-based terror groups. Eight people have been arrested from Tamil Nadu and West Bengal on charges of terror planning.

Six people, Mizanur Rahman, Mohammad Shabat, Umar, Mohammad Liton, Mohammad Shahid and Mohammad Ujjwal, have been arrested from a garment factory in Tamil Nadu's Tirupur district in connection with the incident, sources said. According to officials, a Bangladeshi national is also among the arrested suspects.

Sources said the accused were allegedly using fake Aadhaar cards for identity cards. The Tamil Nadu Police have arrested the suspects and handed them over to the Delhi Police.

Police officials said the police have recovered eight mobile phones and 16 SIM cards from the suspects.
It is to be noted that a seven-member team of Delhi Police and a team of State Police conducted a special secret operation in Malda district a week ago and then arrested two people from Newtown in Kolkata and took them to Delhi on transit remand. The names of the arrested persons are Rabiul Islam and Umar Farooq. The arrested Umar Farooq is a resident of Asintola area of Gopalpur gram panchayat of Manikchak police station in Malda. Rabiul is a Bangladeshi national, said the head of the Delhi Police's Special Investigation Team. However, Malda district Superintendent of Police Abhijit Banerjee did not want to comment on this. He said that it is not possible to say everything in the interest of national security and further investigation.

Officials said that the suspects had put up posters of 'Free Kashmir' and 'Stop the genocide in Kashmir' at more than 10 places, including metro stations, across Delhi and Kolkata about 10 days ago. Investigation revealed that they received financial support from terrorist organisations - with whom they were in contact directly or through social media. Some of the accused were in touch with a handler in Bangladesh, who is currently in Pakistan. Umar Farooq is also accused of harbouring Bangladeshi militants. The names of Umar Farooq and Rabiul emerged after the Delhi Police arrested six Bangladeshis from Tamil Nadu on suspicion of being militants. Farooq's family, however, denied any involvement in the attack.

The incident comes a day after security sources said that Pakistan's Lashkar-e-Taiba was planning to carry out blasts near Delhi's Red Fort and a temple at Chandni Chowk and other important religious places in the country. Sources said that the terror outfit may be planning an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack.
