Department of Business Studies conducted Workshop on Creativity and Innovation
The Department of Business Studies successfully conducted a Workshop on Creativity and Innovation for BBA second-year students under the guidance of Dr. Shashi Aggarwal. The class was divided into four teams, each showcasing unique and innovative ideas. Akwinder and her team presented the theme "Draw Together," creating attractive drawings to promote environmental awareness and crafting useful products from waste materials. Balvir and his team focused on healthy food, offering fruit chaat, salads, and refreshing shakes. Riya and her team highlighted the "Taste of Five-Star" with a variety of delicious dishes like Chole Bhature, pasta, and finger chips. Gurjot and her team also promoted healthy eating, serving dishes such as poha, bread sweets, and dhokla. Adding to the excitement, Dr. Shashi Aggarwal, along with Jashan and Sapan, inaugurated the "Appe Delight Corner," where students served a variety of appe made from moong dal, spinach, gram flour, beetroot, and sweet variations, along with refreshing juices. Distinguished guests, Dr. Dyal Bhatnagar (HoD) and Prof. Anand Bansal, along with faculty members, visited the stalls and appreciated the students' efforts. Faculty members Dr. Jagdeep Singh, Dr. Harpreet Singh, Dr. Vikas Deep, Dr. Gurvinder Singh, Mr. Ravi Kumar and Dr. Amanpreet Kaur enjoyed the dishes and applauded the students' creativity and teamwork. The event was a great success, fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and teamwork among students. Everyone, including faculty and students, thoroughly enjoyed the workshop.
