Chandrapur School Under Inquiry Over Alleged Student Threats
Chandrapur: An official inquiry was conducted on June 1, 2026, at M. B. Model High School, Krishna Nagar, Chandrapur, regarding allegations of threats made to students. The investigation was led by the Group Education Officer of the Panchayat Committee, Chandrapur. Statements from complainant students, parents, school administration, and other involved individuals are being recorded, and the inquiry report will be submitted to senior authorities.
Earlier, on May 4, 2026, the Primary Education Officer of the District Council, Chandrapur, recommended further action against the school to the Deputy Director of Education, Nagpur division. The proposal highlighted unauthorized operation of classes under the CBSE curriculum, violations of the Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act, and related regulations. Additionally, complaints have been filed concerning RTI responses, fee records, internal assessment marks, delays in issuing transfer certificates, and other educational matters. Ashish Sunil Pille, City President of Prahar Janshakti Party, emphasized the need for a fair, transparent, and fact-based inquiry to ensure justice for students and parents.
