Manipur Police Arrest Woman Militant, Recover IED and Arms

Manipur: Security forces arrested Longjam Jenevi alias Thoithoibi Devi, aged 34, an active member of the banned outfit PREPAK (Pro), during a coordinated operation in Kakching district. She was apprehended from the Thongjao Mayai Leikai area along the Indo–Myanmar route, highlighting potential cross-border operational linkages.

In a parallel operation in Imphal East district, authorities seized 9 kg of Improvised Explosive Device (IED), a 12-bore rifle, and 7.62 mm live ammunition. Following these recoveries, area domination and search operations were launched across vulnerable zones in Manipur to prevent further militant activities.
