The hanging body of the son-in-law was recovered near Ghatal's father-in-law's house

The body of the son-in-law was recovered from the in-laws' area in West Bengal the day after the son-in-law's death. The incident took place at Sreepur village in Ghatal in West Midnapore.

Tensions were high in the Sreepur area on Thursday morning over the incident. The deceased was identified as Shukadev Kuila, 25.

His house is in Nabagram of Ghatal.Police recovered the body and sent it for autopsy. Ghatal police have started investigation into the incident. He got married a few years ago in Sreepur village of Ghatal.But his wife moved to Baperbari a few months ago. Neighboring sources said,When he came to his father-in-law's house in the sixties, he found out that his wife had remarried. And the new son-in-law has appeared there.Police have started investigating the incident as well as interrogating the locals. The family of the deceased has lodged a complaint with the police.
