Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Former Governor of Haryana, calls on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji

Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Former Governor of Haryana, called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji at the Parliament House in New Delhi today. This was Dattatreya's first meeting with the Prime Minister after his retirement as Governor of Haryana.

On this occasion, Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Former Governor of Haryana, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Modi Ji for giving him the opportunity to serve as Union Labour Minister in his first cabinet, and later as Governor of Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.

Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Former Governor of Haryana, presented his autobiography "Prajala Kathe Naa Aatmakathe" (The Story of People is My Autobiography) to Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, who appreciated the book, saying it would inspire many.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji enquired about Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Former Governor of Haryana's health, to which he replied that he is doing well and attending most functions. Modi Ji wished him well, saying he was happy to see him in good health and spirits, and advised him to continue his public life with the same enthusiasm.

హర్యానా మాజీ గవర్నర్ శ్రీ బండారు దత్తాత్రేయ ఈ రోజు న్యూఢిల్లీలోని పార్లమెంట్ భవనంలో ప్రధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ గారిని మర్యాదపూర్వకంగా కలిశారు. హర్యానా రాష్ట్ర గవర్నర్‌గా పదవీ విరమణ చేసిన అనంతరం మొదటిసారి ప్రధాన మంత్రి గారిని కలిసిన దత్తాత్రేయ.

ఈ సందర్భంగా తనకు మోదీ గారి మొదటి క్యాబినెట్‌లో కేంద్ర కార్మిక శాఖ మంత్రిగా, అనంతరం హిమాచల్ ప్రదేశ్, హర్యానా రాష్ట్ర గవర్నర్‌గా బాధ్యతలు నిర్వహించే అవకాశం కల్పించినందుకు ప్రధాన మంత్రి మోదీ గారికి హృదయపూర్వక ధన్యవాదాలు తెలియజేశారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా శ్రీ దత్తాత్రేయ తన ఆత్మకథ “ప్రజల కథే నా ఆత్మకథ” పుస్తకాన్ని ప్రధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ గారికి అందజేశారు. ఈ పుస్తకం ఎంతో మందికి ప్రేరణనిచ్చే విధంగా ఉందని మోదీ గారు అభినందించారని శ్రీ దత్తాత్రేయ తెలిపారు.

సమావేశం సందర్భంగా ప్రధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ గారు దత్తాత్రేయ గారిని ఆరోగ్యం ఎలా ఉందంటూ వాక్ష్ఞభావం చేశారు. స్పందించిన శ్రీ బండారు దత్తాత్రేయ తాను ఆరోగ్యంగా ఉన్నానని, దాదాపు అన్ని కార్యక్రమాలకు హాజరవుతున్నానని తెలిపారు. ప్రధాన మంత్రి గారు ప్రతిస్పందిస్తూ చాలా సంతోషమని, ఇదే ఉత్సాహంతో ప్రజా జీవితంలో కొనసాగాలని ప్రధాన మంత్రి మోదీ గారు సూచించినట్లు శ్రీ దత్తాత్రేయ గారు తెలిపారు.
