Hundreds of salutations and tributes were paid to Bharat Ratna, first woman Prime Minister, late Smt. Indira Gandhi on her birth anniversary

( Haryana) 19/11/25 : on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna, India's first woman Prime Minister, late Smt. Indira Gandhi, at the office of the Rural Unit Congress Committee of District Yamunanagar, all the Congressmen of District Yamunanagar paid homage and offered their tributes. District Rural Congress Committee President Shri Narpal Singh, District Urban Congress Committee President Shri Devendra Singh, both the presidents expressed their views and narrated the glorious saga of late Smt. Indira Gandhi in front of all the workers, along with her achievements and courageous deeds, she threw light on the biography of late Smt. Indira ji, who was like Durga and had the vision of unity and integrity of the country.

Rural President Chaudhary Narpal Singh, while lecturing about former Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi, told the gathering that Mrs. Indira Gandhi gave government status to 14 private banks in India and did a great job of making them accessible to the common man, the benefits of which reached directly to the common urban people as well as the rural people of India.

Urban President Chaudhary Devendra Singh, while introducing the indomitable courage of Mrs. Indira Gandhi, said that Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi was a form of Durga. She ignored the pressure of America and divided Pakistan into two parts in 1971.
