Today, Honorable MP Mr. Varun Chaudhary, who reached Jagadhari Vidhan Sabha, led the Congress workers' meeting and implemented the protest. He addressed all the workers from the stage and did the important work of making them aware of the corrupt policies of the current BJP government. Thundering at the BJP government through the stage, MP Varun Chaudhary said that the BJP government has pushed Haryana 50 years back into the abyss. There are no doctors in hospitals, no teachers in government schools, there is no employment for the youth, there is no safe environment for women. Shopkeepers and traders are in an atmosphere of fear. Everyday, shootings are taking place in Yamunanagar district and many cities of Haryana and ransom is being demanded. What kind of governance is this? The law and order of Haryana has completely collapsed, and the Haryana government is sleeping like Kumbhakaran. This is the first time in the history of Haryana that contracts of Yamunanagar district have not been awarded yet. Traders are afraid of taking contracts.
MLA from Jagadhari Vidhan Sabha Chaudhary Akram Khan while addressing the gathering said that today the law and order situation in Yamunanagar district has reached a very low level. Everyday there is firing somewhere in the district, traders are being threatened, there is water logging all over the district. Sanitation system is in shambles. There are heaps of garbage everywhere. Inflation is skyrocketing, fed up with unemployment, the youth are trying to commit suicide or are pushing themselves into drugs. The current BJP government has failed on every front.
Senior Congress leader Chaudhary Satpal Kaushik expressed his views and told the gathering that farmers are troubled, fertilizers and seeds are not available, agricultural equipment has become expensive. The condition of roads, sanitation and sewerage in the city is bad. Law and order has collapsed and the government is silent.
Former District President Chaudhary Zakir Hussain while addressing all the workers said that Haryana state and especially Yamunanagar district never faced such situation that hooliganism, robbery and drug trade was happening everywhere.
Former MLA Chaudhary Arjun Singh attacked the BJP government through the platform and said that today the common man is broken due to the increase in electricity bills, the new smart meters are working so fast that perhaps even the BJP government is not working as fast as this.
