The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) conducted a career counseling session at Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science. S. was the chief guest of this function. Dinakar Reddy, State Head of ICT Academy participated. Students were made aware of the latest trends in the IT sector. Speaking in the program, he informed the students about the emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, block chain etc. in the IT sector. Thus, they need to develop relevant skills and develop themselves for career success in the industry, he said. He highlighted that the Information Technology (IT) sector is one of the most dynamic and fast-growing sectors today, an overview of current market trends shaping the industry, key areas for growth, skills in demand and implications for career development. He said that technical skills alone are not enough for students, more emphasis should be given to soft skills like communication, adaptability and teamwork required for collaboration in diverse environments. He explained to the students how to get a job in the IT sector and what qualities are required to get a good job.
