PhonePe retains UPI dominance, claims nearly 49% market share

PhonePe maintains its dominance in the UPI ecosystem, capturing nearly 49% of the market share in April 2024, as per NPCI data. With 6.5 billion transactions, it has led the pack for over 40 months. Despite a 1% decline in UPI transaction volume, PhonePe's market position remains strong, commanding over 51% of the market share by value.
