10 killed, 21 missing amid heavy rains in Brazil
Heavy rainfall in Brazil's southern Rio Grande do Sul state led to 10 deaths and 21 missing persons, with 11 injured and 3,300 displaced, the country's civil defence said. Operators reported electricity and water cuts across the state. The Brazilian Air Force dispatched two helicopters for rescue operations as floods, landslides, and collapsed bridges caused havoc.
