Russia violated chemical weapons ban in Ukraine conflict: US
The US accused Russia of violating the global chemical weapons ban by using chloropicrin, a choking agent, against Ukrainian troops and employing riot control agents as weapons in Ukraine. The State Department noted these actions are aimed at gaining tactical advantages.
