Prime Minister Narendra Modi In a strong Rebuttal to the Opposition, August 10, responded to the No Confidence vote in the Lok Sabha moved against his government by Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi over the Manipur violence. In his fiery speech,
PM Modi launched numerous scathing attacks on newly allied I.N.D.I.A
PM coined new slogan during no-confidence motion speech in Lok Sabha on August 10. He said, "People of the country have no confidence in Congress. Due to arrogance, they are not able to see the reality. In Tamil Nadu, they Won in 1962 and since 1962 the people of Tamil Nadu are saying 'No Congress!. In West Bengal they won in 1972, people of West Bengal are also saying 'No Congress'. In UP, Bihar, and Gujarat they won in 1985 and the people of these states are also saying 'No Congress!"
Earlier the INDIA Opposition Alliance has planned to move a no-confidence motion against the ruling
government in Lok Sabha. Opposition leaders have been demanding a discussion in the Parliament under Rule 267 over the Manipur issue.
No-confidence motion would entail a reply from PM Modi and it will lead to discussion over Manipur violence. However, the Narendra Modi-led BJP Government easily defeated the motion.
