The 2023 G20 Delhi summit is the upcoming eighteenth meeting of Group of Twenty (G20), a summit scheduled to take place in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi in 2023.

India holds the Presidency of the G20 from December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023. The 43 Heads of Delegations- the largest ever in G20-will be participating in the final New Delhi Summit in September.

The Group of Twenty (G20) comprises 19 countries (Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Türkiye, United Kingdom and United States) and the European Union and and the UAE will be the “guest countries” at the event, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced on September 13.
VcVasudhaiva Kutumbakam, or “One Earth, One Family, One Future,” is the recently unveiled theme for India’s G20 year. It is based on Sanskrit scriptures and emphasises the interconnectedness of various forms of life, including humans, animals, plants, and microorganisms, as well as their significance both on Earth and in the larger cosmos.
