Media-In-Charge, Borgāng Times | Modern Chakma Poet
K. Agash Chakma, born on 31st August 1996, is a dedicated media professional and a modern Chakma poet known for his creative expression and social commitment.
At the young age of 15, he began his journey in community service by actively engaging with various NGOs and village-level organizations, where he contributed to grassroots development and social awareness initiatives. His early involvement in social work laid a strong foundation for his passion for communication and community empowerment.
In 2023, driven by a vision to create a more informed and conscious society, he joined the Borgāng Times, a digital media platform, as Media-In-Charge. Since then, he has been working tirelessly to promote ethical journalism, cultural awareness, and local storytelling that reflects the voices and realities of the Chakma community.
