The amount of water discharged from the Veedur dam has increased due to excessive water inflow

Villupuram District Only one door was opened this morning as the Veedur Dam reached full capacity and the overflow was discharged through it. Exhaust water has increased as more water is coming into the dam. Thus in the morning, the water is discharged through one door and due to the excess water flow the excess water is now discharged through the three Doors. The amount of excess water discharged is expected to increase further in line with water flow
