Indian Army organised PADDAR VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP at Padhyarna and Gulabgarh.

Continuing the effort of nurturing sporting talent of local youth and encouraging the young minds to participate in constructive activities, Indian Army organised PADDAR VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP at Padhyarna and Gulabgarh.

The tournament witnessed an overwhelming participation of teams from all Panchayats of Paddar and Nagseni blocks. On 20 Oct 21, the tournament was inaugurated by Commanding Officer, 17 RR (MARATHA LI) at Gulabgarh.

He appreciated all teams for coming out and taking part in the tournament and wished everyone for healthy and competitive tournament. The final match was played at Padhyarna between Nagseni Strikers& paddar Royal's.Nagseni Strikers came up as winner for the tournament who won the trophy. *Paddar Royal's were the runner up for the championship. Aneek Ashraf of Nagseni Spiker was awarded the trophy for best booster and Sohan Chouhan of Paddar Royal's was awarded the trophy for best spiker.

Cash prize, Trophy and Medallions were given to Winner team, Runner-up team, Best Booster and Best Spiker. The officials from sports and youth dept Kishtwar, other govt officials and Sarpanches were present at the event, lauded the initiatives and expressed that such initiatives by Indian Army will aid in developing sportsmanship spirit amongst the youth and engage them in constructive and nation building activities.
