Assam Team Departs for Mountaineering Expedition in Himachal Pradesh
New Delhi: A five-member team from North East Assam is departing on 8th June for a mountaineering expedition to Mt. CB-13 and CB-14 located in the Kunzum range, Lahoul Spiti, Himachal Pradesh. The team is led by Mr. Khorsing Terang, an Everester 2016 and Assam Gourav Award winner, along with Mr. Bhaskar Barman, Mr. Karan Kr. Shandilya, Mr. Nizamuddin, and Mr. Bipul Boro. The expedition is organized by the North East Adventure Foundation and sponsored by the Director of Sports & Youth Welfare, Government of Assam.
The program is scheduled to last 38 days, from 8th June to 16th July. This expedition was delayed for three years due to various natural calamities in Himachal Pradesh. The team has received warm blessings for a safe return and successful summit of the peaks.
