Kolkata Reports Storm, Political Crisis, Cyber Scam, and Metro Expansion

Kolkata: On 8 June 2026, the city experienced strong winds reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h accompanied by heavy rainfall. Several trees were uprooted, and waterlogging affected multiple areas, causing disruption.
