Sagadeshwar Temple Committee Discusses Upcoming Festival Arrangements

Sambalpur: On 7th June 2026, at 5 PM, a meeting was held by the temple committee in the premises of Sagadeshwar Temple. Prominent local figures attended the meeting where detailed discussions took place on the upcoming Sheetala Sasthi and Shiva-Parvati marriage ceremonies scheduled for 17th and 18th June. Proposals were made to maintain cleanliness around the temple and arrangements for transportation of devotees were also deliberated.

It was decided that this year’s 12th Sheetala Sasthi would be observed alongside the Mohachhab festival on the evening of 18th June at Sagadeshwar. All devotees, especially children, were invited to participate. The Shiva Mahaprabhu’s wedding procession will be accompanied by Dul-Duli music, and everyone was requested to join the celebrations and cooperate in making the event successful. The meeting was chaired by Ramakant Mahakul.
