2 killed in road accident in Jharkhands Chatra

CHATRA: (Jun 7) Two persons died after their motorcycle rammed into a police barricade near a checkpost in Jharkhand's Chatra district, an official said on Sunday.

The incident occurred near the Jabba checkpost on the Bagra-Ranchi main road on Saturday. The deceased were identified as Ganesh Bhuiyan (18) and Basant Bhuiyan (20), both residents of Dundua village.

Officer-in-Charge of Simaria police station Suryapratap Singh said the duo were returning home from a market when the incident occurred due to speeding.
