Transport Dept Cancels Registration of Six 15-Year-Old School Vehicles in Auraiya Best riport - S.A. AHAMAD

Auraiya: The Transport Department has taken strict action by cancelling the registration of six school vehicles that have completed 15 years of service. This decision was implemented by Assistant Regional Transport Officer (Administration) N.C. Sharma. Previously, the registrations of these vehicles were suspended, and the vehicle owners were given notices to present their case.

After the stipulated time passed without satisfactory responses, the department finalized the cancellation of registrations. The affected vehicles include UP79B6599, UP79B9906, UP79T0230, UP79T0072, UP15BT8944, and UP75H8855. The department warned that if these vehicles are found operating on the road post-registration cancellation, full responsibility will lie with the respective school management and vehicle owners, and further action will be taken as per regulations. This move is seen as an important step to ensure children's safety and to discourage operation of old vehicles in the district.
