BBMB Talwara Observes World Environment Day with Plantation Drive

On the occasion of World Environment Day, BBMB Talwara launched its annual plantation drive under the directions of Chief Engineer Rakesh Kumar Gupta. The plantation programme was carried out under the leadership of Deputy Chief Engineer Vimal Kumar Meena, who planted saplings and encouraged officials and employees to contribute towards environmental conservation and increasing green cover.

In his message, Chief Engineer Rakesh Kumar Gupta emphasized that protecting the environment is a continuous responsibility of every citizen and urged people to plant and nurture trees. Deputy Chief Engineer Vimal Kumar Meena highlighted the importance of trees in combating pollution and climate change and called for proper care of the planted saplings.

The programme was attended by Executive Engineers Rabinder Singh and Gaurav Lamba, SDO Dheeraj Kumar, Office Superintendent Tilak Raj Sharma, Junior Engineers Baljit Singh, Shiv Kumar, and Vijay Thakur, along with other officials and staff members.

The participants also pledged to actively contribute towards environmental protection and the promotion of a greener future.
