IRM Throttle Valley Dirt Track Rally Facility to Open Near Mysuru

Mysuru, June 05: A new motorsports training and experience facility, IRM Throttle Valley Dirt Track, has been developed on approximately four-and-a-half acres of land at K. Shettihalli near Srirangapatna, on the outskirts of Mysuru. Motorsports enthusiasts can visit the venue to receive training and experience rides in specialized motorsport vehicles, according to owner Rakshith Iyer. Addressing reporters in the city, Rakshith Iyer said that he has established the facility along with his brother Rohith Iyer. The venue will be officially inaugurated on June 7 at 11 a.m., followed by a motor racing demonstration at 2 p.m. Visitors will also have an opportunity to experience the thrill of riding in a motorsport vehicle while adhering to all prescribed safety standards. Rakshith Iyer stated that he has participated in several motor racing events and has won numerous awards. He noted that motorsport is as exciting and competitive as any other sport and that the objective behind launching the facility is to popularize the sport and provide structured training for those interested in pursuing it as a hobby or competitive discipline. Rohith Iyer, Sachin, and Charitha Gowda were also present at the press interaction.
