Jeevan Prakash Society Organizes Environmental Awareness Walk, Free Sapling Distribution Tomorrow
Bidar: As part of World Environment Day, Kadavada Jeevan Prakash Cultural and Welfare Society has organized an environmental awareness walk, sapling distribution and cultural program in the city on June 5.
At 10 am, a walk will be held from Ambedkar Circle via Bhagat Singh Circle, Basaveshwar Circle, Bommagondeshwar Circle, Shivaji Circle to Haralaya Circle, said the president of the organization, Dilip Kadavada.
At Ambedkar Circle, environmental songs will be sung, poetry recitations on the importance of the environment, street speeches, and mimicry will be held. He said that free saplings will also be distributed to the public there.
The program has been organized to create awareness among the people about environmental protection. He appealed to the youth, the elderly, social thinkers, activists, artists and art lovers to participate in large numbers to make it a success.
