Guwahati: Ambubachi Mela at Kamakhya Temple from June 22 to 26

Guwahati: The Ambubachi Mela, one of India’s most revered spiritual events, will be held at the sacred Kamakhya Temple from June 22 to June 26. This annual event attracts lakhs of devotees, saints, and pilgrims from across the country who come to participate in this unique celebration of faith and devotion.

According to the temple schedule, the observance will begin on the night of June 22, after which the temple will be closed to devotees during the rituals. The ceremonies will conclude on June 26 when the temple doors reopen. Authorities in Assam are making extensive preparations to manage the large influx of pilgrims visiting the Nilachal Hills during the festival.
