The Royal family of Awadh organised the first Bada Mangal bhandara in Lucknow

The Royal family of Awadh organised the first Bada Mangal bhandara in Lucknow today. Nawab Shikoh Azad secretary of the royal society said that The famous Aliganj Mandir was established by Queen Aaliya when she was blessed with a son. Describing the main objective of the Bara Mangal, it depicts the Ganga Jamuni tehzeeb of Lucknow culture.
Nawab Syed Ali AShtar, joint secretary of the organisation said that bara mangle is living example of ganga jamuni culture. The bara mangle function was well organised and hugely attended by Lucknow gentry and government officials. Many politicians also graced the occasion.
