Jeypore Police Bust Illegal Drug Racket, Seize 750 Injections.

Jeypore: In a significant operation targeting illegal drug trafficking, Jeypore Police seized 750 Pentazocine injections, five mobile phones, ₹15,000 in cash, and a vehicle during a raid in Jeypore town. The raid was based on a credible tip-off about the illegal sale of narcotic drugs.

The police apprehended five individuals allegedly involved in the illegal trade. A case has been registered against them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. The accused have been forwarded to court for further legal proceedings. Police officials reiterated their commitment to the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and urged the public to assist by reporting suspicious drug-related activities.
