Rampur: Severe Waterlogging and Drainage Issues in Kotra Village Panchayat

Rampur: Residents of Kotra village panchayat have been facing severe waterlogging and drainage problems for an extended period. Due to the absence of proper drains, dirty water from homes is directly flowing into farmers' fields, causing damage to crops and resulting in financial losses for the farmers.

The villagers allege that despite repeatedly informing the village head and secretary about the issue, no concrete action has been taken so far. They also state that neither the construction of the CC road nor the arrangement of drains has been done, worsening the situation daily. The problem becomes more serious during the rainy season, affecting movement and increasing the risk of diseases due to stagnant water and filth. The villagers have demanded prompt intervention from the concerned authorities to resolve the issue.
