Truck Drags Car Nearly Half Kilometer on Bhubaneswar Bridge

Bhubaneswar, Odisha: A heavy truck dragged a car for nearly half a kilometer on the Kuakhai Bridge late Saturday night after a collision. The car, carrying a father and his daughter, was trapped in front of the truck following the crash near the beginning of the bridge.

The truck driver, reportedly panicked, continued driving with the car lodged ahead until the vehicle was dislodged beyond the bridge. Both occupants escaped with minor injuries but were severely shaken. Police detained the truck driver and seized the vehicle as investigations into speeding, reckless driving, and negligence are underway.
