Katni: Massive Rally Conducted for Drug De-Addiction Campaign

Katni: On World Tobacco Prohibition Day, a grand program was held in Katni district with the main event being a drug de-addiction rally in Hirwara village. A large number of villagers participated in the rally to send a message that a happy, prosperous, and healthy society cannot be built without quitting addiction. Giving up drugs is the only option.

Participants carried posters, used songs and slogans via microphone, distributed pamphlets and pledge letters door-to-door, urging people to take a pledge to quit addiction today. The rally’s success was due to the active participation of villagers and members of the Gayatri Parivar, including Mr. Chhabilal Sahu, Mrs. Kunti Sahu, Mrs. Jyoti Srivastava, Mrs. Asha Barman, Mrs. Sudha Barman, Mrs. Sunita Barman, Mr. Dipnarayan Barman, Mr. Yogesh Barman, Mrs. Mamta Barman, Mrs. Madhuri Barman, Mrs. Shalini Barman, Ms. Subhanshi Barman, Ms. Rama Barman, Mr. Santosh Barman, Dr. Vidyabhushan Khare, Mr. Mahendra Khare, Mr. Ojas Khare, Mr. Sharad Jayswal, Mr. Dheeraj Namdev, Mr. Lav Singh Chauhan, Dahiya Babuji, Mr. Harishchandra Gupta, Mr. Shiv Srivastava, and Mr. Kamal Raj Agrawal.
