Bidar District Police, Gandhiganj Police Station, Bidar District, arrested the accused with marijuana worth more than 19 lakhs
Hon'ble Shri Pradeep Gunti, IPS As per the direct direction and guidance of the Superintendent of Police, Bidar District, based on information that ganja was illegally stored at a house in Sangameshwar Colony under the jurisdiction of Gandhiganj Police Station, Shri Chandrakant Poojary, Additional Superintendent of Police-01 Bidar, under the leadership of Shri Dudpir Hussain Saab Mulla, Deputy Superintendent of Police Bidar, Shri N.D. Sanadi, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime (CCPS) Police Station Bidar, Shri Anandarao S.N., PI Gandhiganj Police Station, formed a team comprising Shri Sanju Kumar, Shri Gangadhar, Smt. Shivalila of his station. The team raided the house in the presence of the Scheduled Officer Shri Anand Ukali, DSP Excise Department Bidar and seized 38 kg 476 grams of ganja. Legal action has been taken against the accused after the seizure of ganja worth Rs. 19,23,800=00.
The police officers and staff who worked hard to seize ganja worth more than Rs. 19 lakhs in a raid with the resolve to make the district a drug-free district have been commended.
Senior Superintendent of Police Pradeep Gunti said that the operation of the district police will always continue to make Bidar district a ganja-free district.
