Today, here at the Eidgah, the Eid-ul-Adha Bakrid namaz was offered by Muslims in large numbers. Khurshid Ahmed, the president of the Intizamia Jama Masjid Eidgah Committee, said that today's day is celebrated in the memory of Allah Taala's Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihis Salam, who did not think twice before sacrificing his son for the will of his God.
