Dewan Naseeruddin Ali Khan chisty proceeding to eidgah for eid prayersin traditional way

On eid day there is a tradition in ajmer Sharif that the Dewan goes to Idgah in Palki or Paliquin. Sitting in Palki from the traditional Dewan sahab ki haveli, just opposite the Dargah Nizam gate, he would pass thru the nizam gate and proceed towards the eidgah. Led by shaziana, dholak and music on foot, the procession passes thru Nala bazar towards Kaisegangj eidgah.
After offering namaz, the Dewan would meet the general public at the gate of eidgah.

While on way back he would stop at dargah Sharif and go visit inside the mousoleum and offer flowers and chadar at the tomb of garib nawaz. Then proceed to Khawaja sahib khankah and do dastarbandi of his staff and offer prayers.

The only difference is that now the present Dewan Saab goes in his car.
