Industry leaders, entrepreneurs and investors discuss growth, digital transformation and capital access for MSMEs

Kolkata, May 27, 2026: Sanmarg Network successfully organized the MSME Conclave 2026 at The Spring Club, Kolkata, bringing together leading entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and industry experts for an engaging discussion on the future of India’s MSME sector. The conclave was held under the theme “Resilient MSMEs – Accelerating Growth & Progress.”

Sumit Binani, Director, Value Wise Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., attended the conclave as Guests of Honour and interacted with participating entrepreneurs and industry stakeholders throughout the event.

The event commenced with an inaugural address by Vivek Gupta, CMD, Sanmarg Group; Ruchika Gupta, President, Sanmarg Group. In their opening remarks, they emphasized the crucial role of MSMEs in strengthening India’s economy, generating employment, and driving innovation, while also highlighting the need for greater collaboration, digital adoption, and financial empowerment within the sector.

Curated by Nova Realtime Solutions LLP, the conclave featured insightful panel discussions, a special fireside chat, and networking opportunities aimed at encouraging collaboration and innovation within the MSME ecosystem.

The first panel discussion, titled “Securing Growth through Capital Market Fund-Raising Initiatives,” focused on financial planning, investment opportunities, and strategies for helping MSMEs access capital markets effectively. The session featured eminent professionals including Sunil Singhi, Managing Partner, V Singhi & Associates ; Shruti Bhalotia Director, Affinity Global Capital Market Pvt. Ltd ; Hemant Chandak, Investment Banker( Kolkata& Gurugram) ; and Pradyut Das from Sree Balaji, with investment banker Aman Chirimar moderating the discussion.

One of the key highlights of the conclave was a fireside chat featuring renowned business leaders Arun Kumar Garodia, Immediate Past President, EEPC and Harish Agarwal, Managing Partner, Kolkata & East EY. The discussion offered valuable insights into India’s evolving business environment, entrepreneurship, and the future roadmap for MSMEs in a rapidly changing economy.

Another important session, “The Importance of Being Digital,” highlighted the critical role of digital transformation, technology adoption, and innovation in ensuring sustainable business growth and competitiveness for small and medium enterprises. The session featured Sudeep Sharma, Co- Founder, Dough As You Like and Rimjhim Ray, Founding Partner, ThankU App as panelists, while Shyam Agarwal , Managing Partner, RG Agarwal, & Co moderated the discussion.

The conclave concluded with closing remarks and a vote of thanks delivered by Sunil Goenka, Business Communication & Business Development Advisor, Nova Realtime Solutions LLP.
