Slathia Chowk: Udhampur Under the leadership of Harsh Dev Singh, Chairman of the Panthers Party India, party workers staged a fierce protest today at Slathia Chowk, burning the effigy of BJP leaders.
Briefing journalists, Harsh Dev Singh stated that while BJP leaders indulge in the politics of religion, their own leaders promote cow slaughter. Strongly condemning the recent statement by West Bengal's leader [Suvendu] Adhikari—who reportedly suggested that cows aged 14 years or older could be slaughtered—Singh remarked that several leaders of the BJP, a party that constantly harps on Hindu-Muslim rhetoric, make such absurd statements about consuming beef. He emphasized that the Hindu community will never tolerate such remarks
