Kanpur Nagar DM Accused of Forging Signatures to Seize DUDA Housing

Kanpur Nagar: Allegations have surfaced against the District Magistrate (DM) of Kanpur Nagar for allegedly forging signatures to unlawfully seize DUDA housing and electricity connections. The project officer of DUDA had reported the matter, leading to the disconnection of the electricity connection by KESCO. A letter was also sent by the DUDA project officer to the KDA secretary requesting the eviction of the housing.

Sandeep Shukla, Congress Rural District President of Kanpur, wrote to the DM demanding an FIR against the entire syndicate involved, including Ritu Singh (wife of Shambhu Singh), who is accused of taking over the DUDA house of Santoshi Devi, wife of Nandlal. Similarly, Shakir Ali Usmani, State President of the Ardh Lok Dal Uttar Pradesh, also sent a letter to the DM urging the registration of an FIR. Both leaders condemned the act as a serious and criminal offense, emphasizing the need to trace the syndicate behind these actions.
