Sambalpur: Ramakant Mahakul has appealed to all farmers to follow specific guidelines for paddy cultivation in the upcoming Kharif 2026/27 season. Farmers are advised to purchase paddy seeds only after threshing the seeds properly. Additionally, while buying fertilizers, they should ensure that the bags have the date 2026/27 and the rate clearly mentioned.



Farmers are instructed to apply a mixture of 35kg urea, 35kg DAP, and 15kg organic fertilizer per acre for cultivation. They should consult agricultural officers if needed for further guidance during the cultivation process.
