Festival to remember sacrifice, sacrifice, tolerance Bakrid celebration in the district today

Bidar: Eid ul Doha/Eid ul Adha (Bakrid) is being celebrated with great devotion in the district on Thursday (May 28), said Bidar Sadbhavna Manch co-convener Muhammad Nizamuddin.
He said that the festival, which is celebrated with the hope of instilling peace, prosperity and a sense of sacrifice in the society, has special significance.
He said that this festival commemorates the sacrifice, sacrifice and tolerance of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), his wife Khalid Bibi and son Islaam (AS).
It is a tradition for Muslims around the world to go on Hajj pilgrimage to the Kaaba during the month of Bakrid. He said that Hajj pilgrimage is a form of worship started by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
People circumambulate the Kaaba as a symbol of dedicating their lives to the worship of one God and making it God-centered. They remember the time when they ran from Safa to Marwah and their mother wandered for water. They said that they threw stones at Satan and cursed him, and resolved to live their lives on the path shown by Allah.
On the day of Bakrid, all Muslims go to Eidgah, offer prayers, and express gratitude to God. They share festive greetings with each other, he said.
When Prophet Ibrahim (a.s.) was ready to sacrifice his son according to the will of God, Allah said to him, "You have passed the test, I do not want the sacrifice of your son." When asked to sacrifice an animal, Muslims around the world have been celebrating the tradition of sacrificing a goat.
He said that the speciality of the festival is to sacrifice an animal and share it with all the poor, and they also eat it.
