Recitation of 'Sawa Lakh' Hanuman Chalisa Underway at Lake Town's Shri Bal Hanuman Temple

The 10th Shri Shri Sawa Lakh Hanuman Chalisa Path Parayan Mahayajna is currently underway at the Shri Bal Hanuman Temple located in Lake Town, organized on the auspicious occasion of Adhik Maas.
​Prominent Dignitaries Visit the Temple
​On Tuesday, Pandit Rajesh Kumar Mishra, the founder of Kashi Anantkashi Gurukulam, alongside prominent Kolkata-based social worker Vikas Jaiswal, visited the temple. Social worker Chatrani Meeku Soni also attended the event. The dignitaries took blessings after performing darshan of Lord Hanuman in his child (Bal) form.

​According to information shared by the temple's chief priest, Revered Shri Bajrang Lal Ji Sharma:
​Daily Schedule: Every day, 31 learned pandits perform collective, musical recitations of the Hanuman Chalisa in two sessions—from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
​Duration: The grand religious event commenced on May 23, 2026, and will continue until June 13, 2026.
​Atmosphere: The continuous presence of devotees has filled the entire temple premises with a deeply spiritual and devotional atmosphere.
