JSS Asha Kiran special school celebrates birthday with special children; promotes spirit of service

JSS Asha Kiran Special School, Jahankhela, hosted an inspiring celebration today when Paramjit Singh Sachdeva, patron of AshaDeep Welfare Society, and his family shared joy with the school’s special children on the occasion of their son Ranbir Singh Sachdeva’s birthday.
A community langar was arranged for the school’s special children, staff, diploma students and members of AshaDeep Welfare Society. Paramjit Singh Sachdeva and his family joined the children to cut the birthday cake and celebrate. The children participated in the event with great enthusiasm and happiness.
On the occasion, Ranbir’s friend Direj Balchandani donated Rs 11,000 to the school. The school management and AshaDeep Welfare Society expressed their gratitude for the generous contribution.
Addressing the gathering, Harbans Singh said that spending time with special children and sharing in their happiness is a noble service. He thanked Paramjit Singh Sachdeva, Direj Balchandani and their families, noting that such social initiatives foster humanity and a spirit of service in the community. He added that Asha Kiran Special School has always worked for the holistic development of special children and, with community support, continues to provide improved facilities. He appealed to other social workers to come forward and share joy in the lives of these children.
Paramjit Singh Sachdeva’s mother, Smt Inderjit Kaur; his wife, Smt Dimpy Sachdeva; daughter-in-law Tanishaa; and granddaughters Tamara and Risheel were present on the occasion. Also in attendance were AshaDeep Welfare Society secretary Col Gurmeet Singh, Malkiyat Singh Mahedu, Hamesh Talwar, Ram Asa, Harish Thakur, Smt Anita Talwar, Sinitta Balchandani, Shashank Bali, Voila Gulati, Sanin Bali and Aira Balchandani, along with the school’s principal Smt Sheli Sharma, Prem Kumar and vice-principal Indu Bala.
The event concluded with all guests wishing the special children a bright future and urging the promotion of love, cooperation and a spirit of service in society.
