Surat: Meeting Held to Address Local Issues in Choriyasi Taluka Panchayat

Surat: A meeting was held at the Choriyasi Taluka Panchayat office at 11:00 AM today to discuss local issues and developmental works concerning villages under Choriyasi Taluka. The meeting was chaired by Choriyasi MLA Sandeepbhai Desai. Newly appointed Panchayat President Yashvi Patel, Vice President Ashokbhai Patel, elected representatives from taluka and district levels, village Panchayat heads, and officials participated in the discussion.

Officials from various departments including Hazira area, Irrigation Department, Sewerage Board, Water Supply Board, SUDA, DGVCL, Mamlatdar office, TDO office, Roads and Buildings Department, Gujarat Gas, GSRTC, GPCB, Planning Department, Police Department, Traffic Branch, and RTO were present. The meeting focused on issues related to water supply, roads, drainage, electricity, traffic, and other basic amenities in rural areas. MLA Sandeep Desai urged representatives and officials to work in coordination to resolve long-pending issues promptly and emphasized the need for timely resolution by improving inter-departmental coordination.
