He noted that the intensity of the heat is escalating in many parts of the nation. He further stated that people are facing difficulties in their daily lives due to these high temperatures. Under these circumstances, he advised that everyone must strictly observe appropriate precautionary measures. To this effect, the Prime Minister shared a post on the social media platform, 'X'.

Specifically, he advised individuals to ensure they remain hydrated and to invariably carry drinking water with them whenever stepping outdoors. Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to the public to avoid venturing out unnecessarily during the hottest hours of the day. He urged people to offer a glass of water to those who are thirsty and suggested placing earthen pots filled with drinking water outside homes and shops. The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for those who are actively providing drinking water to others. Given the intensifying summer heat, he advised children, the elderly, and those with underlying health conditions to exercise extra caution. The Prime Minister urged the public to take adequate precautions to safeguard their health.
