Politics Over Cows

Politics Over Cows: Muslims Targeted, But Top Beef Exporters Are All Hindus – The Agenda of Hatred Unmasked
For the past few years in India, minorities, particularly Muslims, have been continuously targeted under the guise of cow protection and beef. Reports of mob lynching, physical assaults, and social or economic boycotts by self-proclaimed cow vigilantes have become a daily occurrence. A strong impression is deliberately created across the country that the entire meat industry and trade belong exclusively to the Muslim community. However, if one examines the country's official trade data and company ownership records, the reality stands completely contrary to this narrative.
The truth is that the owners of India’s largest, most modern beef-exporting companies, which boast turnovers of billions of rupees, are not Muslims but Hindus. To facilitate branding and ensure smooth acceptance of their products in the international market, especially in Gulf countries, these companies have adopted Arabic or Muslim-sounding corporate names. Yet, the investments and ownership rights behind them belong to major industrialists and traders from the Hindu community.
India's Leading Beef Export Companies and Their Real Owners
Among the top five institutions exporting meat from India, which earn billions of rupees in profit, are the following prominent companies:
Al-Kabeer Exports Private Limited: Recognized widely by its Muslim brand name, this company ranks among the largest meat exporters in India. Its founder and owner is Satish Sabharwal. The company operates a highly advanced and extensive manufacturing plant located in the Sangareddy district of Telangana.
Arabian Exports: Targeting the Muslim consumer market, this major export firm is owned by Sunil Kapoor.
Al-Noor Exports: Operating large-scale processing plants in Uttar Pradesh and supplying meat to over 35 countries globally, the partners of this company are Sunil Sood and his son.
M.K.R. Frozen Foods: Managing a massive meat supply chain out of Delhi and Punjab, this establishment is owned by Madan Abat.
Standard Frozen Foods / A.O.B. Exports: Behind this major processing plant established in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, are prominent business names like O.P. Arora and Kamal Verma.
The Double Standard: Exploitation of the Poor, Free Pass for Corporates
A stark contradiction is visible in the country: while grassroots-level poor Muslims, the Qureshi community, and small traders are intimidated, harassed, and economically exploited using the fear of the law, large corporate houses enjoy an entirely different reality. These major entities operate under government patronage and official licenses from regulatory bodies like APEDA, exporting millions of tons of meat annually to foreign countries and raking in billions in profit.
