Cultural Presentations by Bal Vikas Children from Odisha | May 26, 2026

The evening began with an inspiring address by the Odisha State Vice President of SSSSO, Mr C Sai Prasad, who shared that the Parthi Yatra has become synonymous with Bal Vikas in Odisha. He proudly noted that this year’s Yatra brought nearly 1000 students and teachers to Prasanthi Nilayam and reaffirmed Odisha’s resolve to transform every Samithi and Bhajan Mandali into a true Sadhana Kshetra over the next three years.

This was followed by ‘Yogamritam’, a yoga presentation by the boys of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Mandir, Phulbani, who performed various yogasanas to the Rudrashtakam, beautifully reflecting harmony between body, mind, and soul. The students of Sai Saraswati Gyan Mandir, Bhubaneswar, then presented the vibrant folk dance Laudi, portraying the joyful and spirited village life of Odisha through colourful costumes and energetic movements. Next, the children from Dayasagar Vidya Mandir, Cuttack, offered a drama titled ‘Sab Sathya Hai – Sai Sathya Hai’, highlighting the interconnectedness between the five elements and humanity, while conveying the unity that underlies all creation.

The evening programme concluded with bhajans by the Bal Vikas children, bringing the sacred evening to a close.
