IMD Issues Storm and Heavy Rain Alert for 13 States

India: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for severe storms and heavy rainfall across 13 states, including northern regions. According to the report, states such as Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh may experience winds reaching speeds of up to 80 km/h within the next 12 hours.

The IMD has advised the public to remain cautious, avoid staying near trees and electric poles, and refrain from unnecessary travel. Schools and administrative bodies in several states have been placed on alert mode to respond promptly to any emergency situations arising from the adverse weather conditions.
