#Srinagar May 23/2026//
In a major crackdown under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan 100 Days Campaign Srinagar Police reportedly attached multiple immovable properties worth nearly Rs 5 #crores linked to alleged dr_ug traffic_king networks operating across Srinagar and adjoining districts. The action was taken under various provisions of the NDPS Act against several accused involved in different narcotics related cases.
Police attached two residential houses belonging to Bilal Ahmad Sheikh S/o Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh and Aneek Ahmad Sheikh S/o Nazir Ahmad Sheikh both residents of Larbal Beerwah Budgam in connection with FIR No 37/2024 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act of PS Saddar Srinagar. The attached properties include a single storey and double storey house valued at nearly Rs 30 lakhs and Rs 50 lakhs respectively.
In another action Police attached a double storeyed residential house worth around Rs 1 crore belonging to Suhaib Farooq Khan S/o Farooq Ahmad Khan R/o Mini Colony Chanapora involved in FIR No 15/2023 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act of PS Chanapora.
Police also attached a three storeyed residential house with attic worth nearly Rs 1 crore belonging to Mohsin Ibrahim Naqash S/o Mohammad Ibrahim Naqash R/o Jawahar Nagar Srinagar involved in FIR No 42/2026 U/S 8/21 29 NDPS Act of PS Saddar Srinagar.
Further a three storeyed residential house worth around Rs 50 lakhs belonging to Farhan Manzoor Pandit S/o Manzoor Pandit R/o Kursoo Rajbagh involved in FIR No 18/2026 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act of PS Rajbagh was also attached.
Police Station Karan Nagar also attached a double storeyed residential house belonging to Fayaz Ahmad Rather S/o Farooq Ahmad Rather R/o Patoo Mohalla Ajas Bandipora involved in FIR No 01/2025 U/S 8/21 29 NDPS Act and Section 111 BNS.
In a separate action Police attached a double storeyed residential house at Bakshiabad Bemina worth nearly Rs 1.7 crores belonging to Abid Hassan Dar S/o Gh Hassan Dar involved in FIR No 18/2022 of PS Batamaloo under Sections 8/21 29 27/A NDPS Act and Sections 468 471 473 IPC.
Police said investigations revealed that these properties were allegedly acquired through proceeds generated from illegal dr_ug trafficking. Srinagar Police stated that the action reflects the firm commitment of J&K Police to dismantle narcotics networks and protect youth from the menace of dr_ugs. Police also urged the public to share information related to drug peddling while assuring strict confidentiality of informants.
