Folk literature, art, the true culture of the country, MLA Shri Prabhu Chauhwan

Bidar: Former Minister Prabhu Chauhwan, MLA from Aura (B) reserved constituency, inaugurated the folk festival music program under the special unit plan of the year 2025-2026 at the Pandura Temple in Chikli (J) village of Aura taluk, jointly sponsored by Ramabai Mahila Kele and Cultural Association and Kannada and Culture Department, Bangalore. He said that folk language is the first language taught to a mother by a child. Folk literature and culture are the treasures of our country. When a farmer plows the land with his plough, when he sows, when he makes a rashi, when he brings the rashi to his house in a cart, he tells folk literature through his song. When meetings, ceremonies, fairs and festivals are held, he shows his work through Kolata Bhajan and Tamateva Dollu dance and shares the beauty of the richness of the villages. Women have shown that we are no less than men by performing tamatevadan. For a healthy life. Music is necessary for building a healthy society. Eeramma Sanjuraddi, SDMC President Mr. Deepak Vaijinath. The program was attended by folk songs by Smt. Parvati and the team, tamatevadanah by Arjina team, Kannada songs by Devadasa Chimakoda, veshabhushanakaleh, bhajaneh by Kalavita Ladha Moram Padyah by Nillamma team, and Hanti Padyah by Saraspati team.
