Horrific Road Accident In Karnataka : Five People Lose Their Lives


Gulbarga, May 23, AIMA Media Update News : A tragic accident occurred early this morning (Saturday) on National Highway-150, near Ladlapur village in the Chittapur taluk of Kalaburagi (Gulbarga) district, Karnataka. A Cruiser vehicle, carrying members of a single family, collided head-on with a lorry approaching from the opposite direction. The deceased hailed from Ingalagi village in the Chittapur taluk. The tragedy unfolded while the family was rushing one of their members who had fallen critically ill to a hospital. Kalaburagi SP A. Srinivasulu inspected the accident site. The police have registered a case and have initiated an investigation.

According to details provided by the police, five people died when the Cruiser vehicle collided with the lorry near Ladlapur. Officials confirmed that all five victims lost their lives at the scene of the accident. The deceased have been identified as Cashwar, Hussain, Ali, Rasul, and Fatima. The police confirmed that all of them belonged to the same family. The bodies have been shifted to a nearby government hospital for post-mortem examination. Due to the severity of the impact, the Cruiser vehicle was completely wrecked.

The police have launched an inquiry to determine the exact causes of the accident. The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the region; relatives and locals are inconsolable, weeping bitterly over the sudden loss of five members from a single family. The police suspect that the accident may have been caused by speeding and reckless driving. Against the backdrop of a recent nationwide rise in road accidents, this incident has once again sparked concern. The police are issuing a warning to motorists to strictly adhere to traffic regulations, emphasizing that excessive speed can be fatal.
