We are delighted to announce the launch of “The Durian Flavour: India & ASEAN After a Decade of the Act East Policy”, authored by Ambassador Gurjit Singh (Batch of 1972), Former Ambassador to ASEAN. The book was officially released on 20 May 2026.

The event was graced by the presence of the Guest of Honour, Vijay Kumar Mathu (Batch of 1961), along with other distinguished dignitaries. Kirit S. Javali (Batch of 1988), Vice President of MAAD, was also present.

This launch celebrates the remarkable insights and contributions of one of our esteemed alumni, as he reflects on India’s evolving engagement with ASEAN and the impact of the Act East Policy over the past decade.
